Seamless AV delivery for The Primedia Crime line gala dinner.
The Maslow Hotel hosted the Primedia Crime Line Tip-Off Service's 6th Anniversary Gala Dinner. The event celebrated the success of the Crime Line Tip-off initiative and the significant contribution it has made in our society.
The event was attended by some of South Africa's finest patriots with the likes of performer PJ Powers; Head of Crime Line Initiative Yusuf Abramjee; National police commissioner, General Riah Phiyega; Correctional Services' National Commissioner Tom Moyane; MEC for community safety in Gauteng Faith Mazibuko; Gauteng's Provincial Police Commissioner and the Deputy Police Commissioner for the Western Cape as well as other members of the South African Police Service (SAPS). Chairman of the Gauteng Community Policing Board Andy Mashaile; Tshwane Metro Police Chief Daniel Manganye; CEO of Sanparks Dr David Mabunda and the CEO of Primedia Terry Volkwyn, amongst others.
Anele Mdoda, the first woman in South Africa to host a solo drive time show and also known for her on-air partnership with Grant Nash on Highveld FM was the hostess for the event. She handed over to the Head of Crime Line Initiative, Yusuf Abramjee, who gave a factual and very inspiring speech on the achievements of the Crime Line over the years. PJ Powers took to the stage and sang her new song "We are in this together" and got the crowd excited and singing along.
INHOUSE Venue Technical Management (Pty) Ltd (IVTM) supplied all of the technical requirements for the function and ensured that the event ran impeccably. We made use of the Maslow hotel's full ballroom and used our electric drop down screens and mounted projectors which kept the overall setup seamless. Making use of Kramer switching gear allowed us the luxury of switching between multiple laptops to screen several videos in between presentations and award slides.
PRIMEDIA expressed its gratitude to the IVTM team for their professional and consultative service, attention to detail and flexibility. Yusuf Abramjee acknowledged that the audio-visual component of any event is paramount and we appreciate that the IVTM team raised the bar in ensuring that it ran smoothly and without any technical glitches.
Happy sixth anniversary to the PRIMEDIA Crime Line Tip-off Service from IVTM.
