On the 1st November 2012, INHOUSE Venue Technical Management announced the commencement of their latest partnership in KZN with the Hilton Durban. This prestigious 5 star venue in central Durban is ideally located next to the Durban International Convention Centre and therefore has played a key role in hosting high profile conferences and events including COP17, African Cup of Nations, K-Rith, and the 5th South African AIDS conference.
Apart from the 327 guest rooms, the hotel has been designed specifically to cater for the demands of the conference and events industry necessitated by its prime location. With an entire floor dedicated to a business centre and 10 meeting rooms of various sizes and configurations, as well as a grand ballroom and polo room; this venue can cater for a variety of functions, including conferences with breakaway rooms, cocktail parties and gala dinners, product launches, and road shows.
"When partnering with a venue as a technical supplier, "said Solomon Govindasamy, IVTM's Venue Technical Manager for Hilton, "the client's aim is often to simply have their immediate technical problems solved and to ultimately have their expectations met. What sets IVTM apart though, is that we strive to exceed these expectations, and provide turnkey technical solutions through careful planning, "out-the-box" thinking, and meticulous attention to detail. As with all our venues, this is what we are implementing at the Hilton Durban."
"On the 3rd of December, we are planning our own 'Hilton' version of SA's Got Talent," said Dries Swanepoel, C&B Manager of the Hilton Durban "This will be a perfect opportunity not only for our staff to showcase their hidden talents, but a chance for the INHOUSE team to show us what they can do with the technical - I am sure everyone will rise to the occasion!"
With an investment in state-of-the-art equipment and the placement of skilled personnel who fit seamlessly into the brand standards of this esteemed Durban venue, INHOUSE is looking forward to supporting the Hilton Durban in ensuring a successful, bumper 2013.
