Technical Services provider, INHOUSE Venue Technical Management (IVTM), was appointed as the preferred supplier for the 12th annual ABSA Cape Epic which took place from 15 to 22 March 2015. The INHOUSE VTM team have been involved with the ABSA Cape Epic since 2008, supplying all technical equipment for the main event and pre-events, media and route launches leading up to the race, nationally when necessary.
The client-supplier relationship between IVTM and the ABSA Cape Epic Team is a perfect example of the IVTM ethos encapsulated in the company’s tag line, Your Technology Partner. “IVTM’s ability to build long-term and mutually beneficent relationships with their clients is integral to the success of the delivery,” says IVTM’s Conference & Events Manager, Ashraf Allie. “It requires a real investment from both sides. We understand the Cape Epic team’s business and they understand ours. We have gained their trust over the years and they value our opinion and advice when it comes to technical elements. The results of the relationship speak for themselves.”Read More
The INHOUSE Venue Technical Management (IVTM) team operating within the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), recently had the privilege of being the preferred supplier for the Inaugural Ubuntu Awards Gala Dinner, a premier event hosted by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) on the 14th of February 2015 in the CTICC.
The aim of this prestigious annual awards ceremony is to recognise South African industry leaders and eminent persons for their contribution to promoting South Africa’s national interests and values across the world.
On the 1st of August 2014, technical supplier to venues, INHOUSE VTM (IVTM) opened doors at the Southern Sun O.R. Tambo Hotel. The hotel is situated in Johannesburg, just 500 metres from South Africa’s busiest airport and functions as a convenient business stop for local and foreign clients offering a 5 star service right from the front door.
On 3 and 4 Aug 2014, IVTM showcased the Gearhouse Group’s products to the hotel’s management and sales team as well as their clients, from a basic Daily Conference Package setup to the newest high-tech equipment available through the Group, including conference microphones, translation services, touch screens, registration software, twitter feed capabilities and a fully suspended lighting rig.Read More

As a result of delivering an earlier successful event to introduce the Marriott acquisition of Protea Hotels in April this year; INHOUSE Venue Technical Management (SA's top technical supplier to venues) was offered the opportunity to handle a subsequent Sales conference and Gala dinner event at African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa as well as the General Manager's conference at Arabella Hotel & Spa in June 2014.
With so many international delegates attending Marriott International and Protea Hotels very specifically wanted these events to be memorable and to run absolutely "seamlessly". IVTM came up with separate technical concepts and specifications for both events, making each distinctive and special. The technical requirement was larger than the small-medium sized event set up that IVTM specialises in, so the company also drew on the resources of their partner companies within the Gearhouse Group to supplement with additional stockholding. The ability to service any type of event with the additional capacity of the Group is one of the factors that have been instrumental in IVTM's success to date.Read More
