The INHOUSE Venue Technical Management team, based at CTICC, had the privilege of being involved in two farewell events that were hosted for the outgoing CEO, Rashid Toefy. The one was an internal relaxed staff event and the other was a formal external stakeholder.

IVTM welcomes new General Manager at Hilton Durban
The Hilton Durban recently announced the appointment of their new General Manager, Markus Fritz. Mr Fritz has worked at a number of hotels in Europe, the UK and South Africa, including the Hilton Cape Town City Centre. The One Young World (OYW) Summit brings together 1,500 young thought leaders from around the world to work together towards inspiring and leading change. 2013 saw the event taking place in Africa for the first time, with the technical support of the Gearhouse Group of Companies in Johannesburg.
1,250 leaders between the ages of 18-30 years came together under the mentorship of International Councillors such as Boris Becker, Kofi Annan, Francois Pienaar, Jamie Oliver, Sir Bob Geldof, Ryk Neethling, Arianna Huffington, Sir Richard Branson, Lily Cole and Maria Ramos, amongst others. The annual Summits aim to equip young Ambassadors to accelerate positive change in the world through their own initiatives or from within their places of employment. One Young World claims to bring together more global participants than any other youth-focused event, with the exception of the Olympic Games.
